The Difficulty of the Test may vary if the Character has limited or prolonged exposure, as determined by the GM. A Player may spend a Resilience point to permanently lose the long-term effects of Maddening Aura, though the memories of the horrific creature never diminish. A Character may expend 1 Resolve point to ignore the negative consequences of the Maddening Aura for 1 Round.
